Missions Ministry
A GROWING MINISTRY In addition to our existing financial partnerships with North American and International mission organizations, First will soon be adding a new staff member to help us take the hope of Christ even further. We are praying about a variety of opportunities that lay before us, including local outreach, international mission trips, church planting and more. We believe God is calling us to expand our efforts so that we may help more people than ever before. CURRENT OPPORTUNITIES Youth and adults are preparing to go on a mission trip to Mexico on June 21-28, 2008. This team will be doing renovation work at a children's home, providing eyeglasses, and ministering to street children. Also, we are working to donate Bible study materials, medicine and clothes for children. Please let us know if you would like to join us before we fill the bus! To maximize our effectiveness during this trip, we are partnering with Servant Senders, a ministry based in Cd. Juarez, Mexico. Their purpose is to equip God’s people to “go and share the gospel” of Jesus Christ. They network with ministries already in existence, sharing their experience, while training servants to serve. |
