At First, you can expect Biblically sound messages delivered with a healthy dose of humor and creativity. We laugh and learn together every week. We don’t pretend to be perfect and we don’t expect you to be either. We are just flawed people striving to find out more about our Creator and what His plan is for our lives. You don’t have to wait to “get your act together” before discovering more about our forgiver and Savior, Jesus Christ. Chances are that if you could change on your own, you would have done it already.

We are in some of the most exciting days in the history of the First Baptist of Blue Springs! Over the past several weeks we've been discovering just how faithful God is, and we've been learning to trust Him just a little bit more with our one and only life. There are a lot of things in this world that will let us down but God never will. That truth calls for a celebration! We believe that God has placed an incredible opportunity in front of us as a church and by faith we can live in victory each day. Join us this Sunday morning as we bring our "Moving Forward" commitments and give our very best to God - together!

In addition, special worship gatherings designed specifically for preschoolers and children are held simultaneously with the main services. Also, we offer small group Bible studies on Sundays and during the week in homes across Jackson County.
